Entrepreneurship Books & Research Tools for Researchers, Educators

While there are many books for entrepreneurs, there aren’t nearly as many for entrepreneurship researchers and educators. Below is a list (in no particular order) of entrepreneurship books that we believe are relevant for students and scholars. The authors and editors of these valuable resources include renowned entrepreneurship researchers such as:

» Alain Fayolle, EM Lyon Business School

» Candida G. Brush, Babson College

» David B. Audretsch, Indiana University, Institute for Development Strategies

» Dean A. Shepherd, University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business

» G. Thomas (Tom) Lumpkin, University of Oklahoma, Price School of Business

» Jeffrey G. Covin, Indiana University, Kelley Business School

» Robert A. Baron, Oklahoma State University, Spears School of Business

» Saras D. Sarasvathy, University of Virginia, Darden School of Business

Besides books, there is also a list of software tools, programs, and platforms for data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, illustration, visualization, etc. These are commonly used to analyze and interpret quantitative data to augment qualitative analysis and theorizing in entrepreneurship research.

To suggest any relevant book or software tool, please share the name via Twitter or LinkedIn. Thanks!
